The value for money at Xisto Sentido was exceptional, and our room was clean and well-equipped with a kitchenette. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of main streets. The staff, especially Fernanda, went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met.
Breakfast selection could have been improved with more variety.

The host spoke excellent English and gave detailed descriptions of meals. The homemade food, including goat, pork, sausage, jams. The room was comfortable and clean with air conditioning. The location next to a river and a small town was off the beaten track. The peacefulness and beautiful night sky provided a perfect place to relax.

We had an amazing stay at Xisto Sentido. The peaceful and quiet atmosphere made us feel like we had traveled back 100 years. Fernanda, the sweetest person in Portugal, made our experience truly special. The homemade bread and jams at breakfast were the best we've ever tasted. We will definitely return when in the area.
We highly recommend this hotel.

One small inconvenience is that the hotel doesn't have a reception after 5pm, which can be a bit inconvenient for late arrivals.

What a peaceful and charming getaway! The location of this hidden gem is perfect for those seeking tranquility. The rooms are small but cozy, complete with a warm log fire. The lack of phone reception is actually a blessing, allowing for a true escape from the stresses of everyday life. The homemade breakfast, especially the fruit bread, is a delight. The night sky here is perfect for stargazing, with no light pollution to obscure the view. Though there is no wifi, it only adds to the serenity. I highly recommend this place for a rustic and rejuvenating retreat.

I always return to this amazing place. The staff suggested great places to eat when I first visited. It has everything I need like car park, AC, TV, laundry, hiking, cycling. Can't wait to be back for New Year! No regrets.

The room was more than I expected, a small studio with a living area, kitchen, bathroom, and direct access to the exterior. It was great having a separate space to relax and prepare meals. The breakfast served outside was perfect, with a great variety of natural goods, especially the bread and jellies. The staff was friendly and the surroundings were peaceful.
The lack of a reception after 5pm. I arrived at 6pm and had to call for someone to bring the key.

The stay at this place is everything I could have hoped for during our romantic escape. the quaint and traditional buildings added to the charm of the experience. the staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even provided us with a delicious home-cooked platter of tapas-style food and a variety of drinks, making our evening extra special. the breakfast was homemade and superb, offering a great start to our day.
We struggled with an international bank payment, and it would have been more convenient if they accepted card payments. Despite this minor inconvenience, it did not overshadow the overall positive experience we had at this wonderful hotel.

The breakfast offerings could have been improved with more variety.

The stay at the Xisto Sentido Villa was everything we could have asked for. This charming retreat is located next to a river in a peaceful village. The cozy room with a wood-burning fireplace made for a perfect getaway. We were fortunate to be the only guests during our early season visit. The breakfast was delicious and the hospitality of the staff was exceptional. Gustavo, the host, was amazing and always ready to assist. It's a simple yet perfect escape, ideal for those seeking tranquility and a break from technology. We can't wait to return and experience the purity of this heritage village again.
Could not be improved in any way. 😊
